*Roaming like desert animals, we understand it’s enough to find a few leaves or drops to slip past another day* is a film screening program featuring artworks selected by Los Angeles-based artist Samar Al Summary, whose exhibition, *Excavating the Sky*, is currently on view in ICA LA’s Project Room. The program brings together work by artists from across the Middle East and North Africa who, like Al Summary, embrace the medium of film as a form of documentation, resistance, remembering, and imagination and a tool by which to cross the boundaries and borders that might otherwise keep us apart.
